Repair My Word is corrupted Word documents restored. Repaired versions saves the free software then as an RTF file on the hard disk.
Sometimes it happens that Word documents are available only in the form of damaged - for example through a bad copy or a faulty download. Microsoft Word refuses to open such DOC and RTF files and provides only an error message. At this point, Word Repair comes into play. The small freeware reads the mostly still intact text portions of erroneous word documents and saves it as a completely new RTF file. This can then open as usual in Word and edit them.
Conclusion
Repair My Word does not save anybody, but yet so many presumed lost for dead document. An attempt, in the case of the case, definitely worth it - especially since Word Repair is free.
