In this demo you can play two levels of the full game. In the Battle of Hogwarts, you'll fight of an army of Death Eaters, controlling Harry, before continuing with an intense battle between Hermione and Fenrir.
The games of the Harry Potter movies have been a mixed bunch, and that's being kind. The last game was terrible, so we'd hope for this finale to be a better experience.
Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows Part 2 is essentially a third person action shooter, with wands replacing guns. As you fight the hordes of Death eaters, you'll need to use cover, like in Gears of War. The graphics are acceptable, but won't blow you away, while the sound is a mixture of cinematic soundtrack and voice samples.
Fans of the series will undoubtedly enjoy playing Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows Part 2, but as a standalone game it's very average. The action isn't up to par with other cover-based shooters, meaning only your enthusiasm for the characters involved will carry you through the game.
Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows Part 2 is a fitting end to an uninspired series of movie tie-ins that stretch back to 2001 with the Philosopher's Stone.
