BetterJPEG is a simple image editor with a special feature: The program is dedicated to photos in JPG format and avoids the usual processed images of this type quality loss.
When you open a JPG photo, processed and closes again, the file is usually compressed again. The result is a visibly lower image quality. BetterJPEG circumvents this problem by the software saves only the modified parts of the picture again. Thus, the original quality is largely maintained.
As far as the editing functions, the user accesses the common commands like Rotate Image, cut, paste text or Red-eye back. The program also supports EXIF ??information.
